Where is the Sydney Family Show located?

The Sydney Family Show is located at the Entertainment Quarter at 122 Lang Road, Moore Park, NSW 2010 (next to the Sydney Cricket Ground).  There are plenty of ways to get to the show that are easy and convenient from all parts of Sydney.


What dates are the Sydney Family Show open?

The show will run from the 12 - 27 April 2025

10am - 5pm - (Saturdays and Easter Weekend)

10am - 4pm (Sunday to Friday)


Can I buy tickets at the gate or are they only available online?

To guarantee your spot we recommend purchasing in advance online, but some tickets will be available at the gate base on availability.


Can I get a refund on a pre-purchase ticket?

All sales are final, and we cannot refund tickets unless a refund is due in accordance with our weather & date change policy which is detailed below in the weather policy.

 

All purchasers are asked to agree to this policy during checkout by ticking a box ensuring they are aware of the policy. To avoid disappointment we recommend checking your calendar and selecting the date and time of your visit carefully.


Who is defined as an Adult, Child or Family ?

  • Adult - 16 years of age and older
  • Child -  3-15 years of age
  • Children 2 and under - FREE and do not require an entry ticket, but will require ride tickets if wanting to ride
  • Family - Admission is for any 4 people of any age whether child or adult

Can I change unlimited rider session time?

You may change your unlimited rider session by emailing your change request to info@ofa.net.au.


Do I need to print tickets or can I show them on my phone?

You can print tickets or show them on your phone at the ticket box.  If showing on your phone, please have each QR code ready to be scanned once you reach the ticket box to ensure the most efficient experience possible. 


Our weather policy - What if there is inclement weather ?

Sydney Family Show is a rain or shine event and we won’t let some light rain stop the fun. We recommend checking the local weather report in advance of your session and dressing appropriately.

 

The safety of our customers and staff comes first and in the case of thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds or other adverse weather conditions that would pose a risk, we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, cancel or alter elements of the event or individual sessions. We keep a close eye on the weather ahead of our events and will communicate any changes as soon as we can to ticket holders via our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/SydneyFamilyShow/


Why was there an event offering change?

Our goal is always to deliver the full Sydney Family Show experience. On rare occasions this may not be possible due to unforeseen logistical issues or inclement weather. In these circumstances we reserve the right to alter, substitute or withdraw individual elements of the event. Where possible, we will communicate this in advance.


What public transport do I take to the show?

Catch the Light Rail - 

Catch the light rail service to Moore Park on the L2 Randwick Line or L3 Kingsford Line to get within a short walking distance of EQ. The Moore Park stop is located on Anzac Parade just north of Lang Road. Services run every 5 to 10 minutes between Circular Quay and Moore Park, and every 10 to 15 minutes between Moore Park and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford, from 5am until 1am daily.

 

Catch the bus - 

There are a number of a regular route buses that stop along Anzac Parade, Oxford Street and other nearby roads within short walking distance of EQ. Use the Trip Planner at transportnsw.info to plan your trip by bus.


Where is the taxi rank?

The Entertainment Quarter operates a managed taxi rank within the site from Errol Flynn Boulevard.


Where is there car parking?

Parking at The Entertainment Quarter is easy with the EQ Carpark. It offers 2000 car spaces, and a maximum vehicle height of 2.1m. Can I walk from Central Train Station?

It’s about a 25 minute walk from Central Station to EQ via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter walkway.


Where are the ATM's?

Double check the show map, but an ATM is typically located near the main ticket box.  Also, within the venue an ATM is temporarily located inside City Convenience store.


Where are the parents room located?

Located near the old kids playground opposite the Roosters building.  The room is equipped with kids’ toilets, private feeding facilities and change tables.


Where are the toilets located?

Toilets are available to the public at the entrance of the multi-storey car park, on the left hand side or outside Max Watt’s, in building 19 and and under Brent Street Dance Academy at the back of the Showring.

Will animal petting be allowed on site?

Yes, animal petting will be allowed in our animal nursery area.  Sanitiser will be readily available at the animal nursery for guests to sanitise their hands afterwards.


Is the Sydney Family Show cashless?

No, we accept cash and card.


Do they rides have any height and age restrictions?

Yes, the ride safety guide is pictured below. All rides are supervised, however, rider responsibility is advised and riders ride at their own risk.
